Is responsible for driving strategic, financial and operational management of General Liability and Umbrella lines of business as well as oversight and governance of the GL and Umbrella Product suite across the Enterprise. PRIMARY DUTIES: Provide state of the art product offerings to our commercial customers to ensure Travelers is recognized as a leader in product innovation in the marketplace.Promote an Enterprise culture by leveraging products across Business Insurance.Direct training on products and line of business tools to the field staff/Business Units to increase their awareness and use of the products and tools. Mentor the product staff to develop the technical and leadership skills necessary for success.Oversight and governance on all GL/Umbrella coverage.Partner with all Business Units to ensure appropriate product suite. Support the development of GL/Umbrella strategic plans in support of all Business Units.Prepare regular reviews and commentary for Senior Management regarding the internal performance of the lines as well as external industry developments. Provide support to Actuarial partners in shaping the development of enhanced pricing models as well as base rate management.Monitor the overall performance of the lines including growth and retention to ensure consistency with product strategies, goals, and priorities.
