Details: The selected individual will be responsible for handling Japanese overseas travel insurance policy claims.The position will review coverage, loss of the claim and communicate with the insureds and the providers or recommend payments or denials to the policy issuing office in Japan. In addition, there will be administrative/clerical work involved. This will include, but not limited to processing mail, confirming coverage using the web verification tool, sending e-mails/faxes to Japan, writing business letters to the insured/providers, issuing checks and organizing claim files.Strong customer service skills required.Prior customer service experience is a plus.Some years of working experience in Japan preferred to understand demands/requirements of Japanese customers.Initiative, analytical, planning & organizational skills are a must for claims handling.Prior insurance industry or claims experience a plus.Excellent oral/written langualge skills in English and Japanese.Strong communication/interpersonal skills.PC skills including knowledge of Windows OS, MS office software such as word, excel, powerpoint.About ChartisChartis is a world leading property-casualty and general insurance organization serving more than 40 million clients in over 160 countries and jurisdictions.
