Sr. Medicare Account Representative

Details: Sr. Medicare Account Representative Responsible for increasing membership through direct sales and marketing of Molina Medicare products to dual eligible, Medicare-Medicaid recipients within approved market areas to achieve stated revenue, profitability and retention goals, while following ethical sales practices and adhering to established policies and procedures.  Will also be responsible for the development and management of provider, community and partnership relationships, growth campaigns and tracking ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Develop sales strategies to procure sufficient number of referrals and other self-generated leads to meet sales targets through active participation in community events and targeted community outreach to senior/disabled group associations, community centers, resource centers, residences and other potential marketing sites.  • Generate leads from referrals and local-tactical research and prospecting.   • Work assigned (company generated) leads in a timely manner.  • Schedule individual meetings and group presentations from assigned/self generated leads. • Achieve/Exceed monthly sales targets.  • Conduct presentations with potential customers.  Customize sales presentations and develop sales skills to increase effectiveness in establishing rapport, assessing individual needs and communicating product features and differences. • Enroll eligible individuals in Molina Medicare products accurately and thoroughly complete and submit required enrollment documentation, consistent with Medicare requirements and enrollment guidelines.  Assist the prospect in completion of the enrollment application.  Forward completed applications to appropriate administrative contact within 48 hours of sale. • Ensure Medicare beneficiaries accurately understand the product choices available to them, the enrollment process (eligibility requirements, Medicare review/approval of their enrollment application, timing of ID card receipt, etc.) and the service contacts and process. • Track all marketing and sales activities, as well as update and maintain sales prospects daily, weekly and monthly results in SalesForce.com. • Work closely with network providers to identify and educate potential members; participate in provider promotional activities. • Develop quarterly marketing plans and manage monthly activities and tactics for network providers, hospitals or other partnered relationships.  • Participate, if applicable, in Medicaid quarterly meetings/JOM’s with provider groups and report on membership growth, disenrollment, issues etc. • Assist in training Medicare Account Representatives. • Work with Sales Manager on various projects • Ability to be on the road 90-100% of the time in the local service area. Maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s record • Other duties as assigned • Possess thorough knowledge of industry and state regulations including but not limited to HIPAA, CMS and Medicaid. • Additionally, this position will bring and/or develop relationships with local, regional and state organizations/associations related to the qualification, placement and management of qualified prospects (Medicare and Medicaid). • Maintain current state Life Agent license Knowledge, Skills and Abilities  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to abide by Molina’s policies • Maintain regular attendance based on agreed-upon schedule • Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) • Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers and customers • Proficient computer skills to access customer information, utilizing technology to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers.   QUALIFICATIONS Required Education  • High School diploma/GED required                                                                                                              Preferred Education • BA degree • Required Experience      • 4+ years Medicare, Medicaid, managed care or other health/insurance related sales experience • Experienced in self generating leads through local area marketing • Current relationships with centers of influence for Medicare/Medicaid beneficiaries                                                                                                                    Preferred Experience • Bi-lingual preferred, membership in related service organizations Required Licensure/Certification • Life & Health (Disability) Agent license                                                                                                                         To all current Molina employees if you are interested in applying for this position please fill out an Employee Transfer Request Form (ETR) and attach it to your profile when applying online.  Be sure to let us know you are a current employee by selecting “Molina Employee (current) in the source section of the online application.
