In this role you will support strategic objectives and operations of Bond & Financial Products, including product development, compliance, and a wide range of project management initiatives with a focus in Crime, Fidelity or other first party expense coverage (e.g., Crime, Kidnap Ransom, etc.) Primary Duties & Responsibilities:In this role you will be expected to successfully and effectively perform the following duties:Lead and collaborate with Business Unit customers to manage and bring projects and initiatives to successful completion. Manage and drive product consistency and quality, with a customer-focus.Design, develop, maintain, consult and train on insurance products.Able to develop strong writing skills into policy form drafting, combined with a good understanding of coverage concepts and policy contract framework.Able to apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills to insurance coverage issues or department processes and effectively communicate such information for the best results.Develop strong business partnerships with business and product management leadership to ensure consistent support of projects and initiatives by becoming a key expert resource on product specific issues.Identify internal and external product and compliance trends, opportunities, and emerging issues and educate business units as to these matters.Qualifications:Education and Work Experience:College degree or higher level of educationInsurance underwriting, claims, legal, or other relevant experiencePreference for, but flexible on, experience working with Crime, Fidelity or Management liability insurance coverageExcellent oral and written communication and presentation skillsStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsAbility to work collaboratively and effectively as a member of a teamAbility to demonstrate strong initiative and organizational skills to manage projects to meet deadlines and achieve superior quality outcomesAbility to leverage business resources or partnerships to resolve issues to arrive at a more educated outcomeAbility to develop, build and, leverage strong, trusted relationships with internal and external partnersAbility to manage and adapt to multiple projects and multiple customer demands with competing priorities and deadlines effectively and professionallyKnowledge of state insurance regulatory environment Travelers is an equal opportunity employer.
